Privacy Policy for Battery Info: Health & Charger
This Privacy Policy explains how Battery Info: Health & Charger (the “App”) handles information.
Information processed on your device
The App reads battery and charging information made available by Android, such as battery level, charging state, temperature, voltage, health, power, and related device status. If you grant Usage Access, the App may also use app-usage statistics to estimate battery consumption by installed apps.
This information is used to provide battery monitoring, charging history, alerts, widgets, and estimates. Battery measurements, charging history, app-usage estimates, and App settings are processed and stored locally on your device. Dustella does not receive or store this information on its servers.
Usage Access is optional. You can revoke it at any time in Android Settings. Some estimates may then be unavailable.
Advertising and consent
The App uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display ads and Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage applicable privacy choices. Google and its partners may automatically collect or share information including:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
- interactions with the App and ads;
- diagnostic information, such as crash and performance data; and
- device or other identifiers, including the Android advertising identifier when available.
Google may process this information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Data transmitted by Google’s SDKs is encrypted in transit. The precise processing depends on your region, consent choices, device settings, and Google’s services.
You can review available advertising privacy choices from Settings > Ad privacy in the App. You can also control or reset the advertising identifier in Android Settings.
Permissions and device access
Depending on the Android version and features you use, the App may request or use:
- Notifications: to show battery and charging alerts;
- Foreground service: to continue battery monitoring for charge-target and high-temperature alerts when you enable monitoring;
- Run at startup: to restore monitoring after a device restart only when you left it enabled; and
- Usage Access: to calculate optional per-app battery-usage estimates.
These permissions can be managed in Android Settings.
You can turn background battery monitoring off at any time from Settings > Battery monitoring in the App. Turning it off stops the foreground service and ongoing notification and prevents monitoring from restarting after a reboot.
Accounts, sales, and sharing by Dustella
The App does not require an account. Dustella does not sell your personal information. Dustella does not receive or share locally processed battery information or app-usage estimates. Information processed by Google Mobile Ads is governed by Google’s policies and your applicable privacy choices.
Data retention and deletion
Locally stored App data remains on your device until you delete it using the App’s data-deletion option, clear the App’s storage in Android Settings, or uninstall the App. Data processed by Google is retained according to Google’s policies.
Children
The App is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the App, applicable law, or third-party services change. The updated effective date will appear at the top of this page.
